1)To make a digital story, you must first write a good script and storyboard, so that you have a clear understanding and grasp of the digital story you want to tell. Posteriorly, I found an illustration of the story from the Internet and used it as a background for my powerpoint. Then, I added the corresponding text to each slide and set the animation effect. What's more, I added relaxing background music to the PPT. Finally, show the PPT and record it. And so a video of a digital story came into being.
2）I chose colorful comic pictures as the background of the digital story, interpreted the digital story with concise words, and recorded the video of the digital story, which made the digital story more clear and intuitive and easy to understand. And I added a piece of easy pure music, accompanied by a digital story, to create an audio-visual feast. By methodically integrating video, sound, and vision, these modes can be effectively integrated.
3）As I explored digital storytelling, I faced many challenges, felt at a loss as to how to approach the process, and was filled with confusion. Because I had never worked on a digital story before. When I see those beautiful digital stories on the Internet, my unease and confusion become more intense. However, after some thinking, I decided to use the combination of PPT production and animation to create digital stories. The lack of a voice to tell the story, though, is a fly in the ointment.
4）Making digital stories is both a challenge and an opportunity. It allows me to learn and use the resources in the computer to make a digital story, which improves my thinking ability and practical ability. However, I still have a lot to improve. A case in point is that I should have added my soundtrack to the video for the digital story to make the story more engaging and increase the viewer's immersion.
5) There are a lot of good things about making digital stories compared to traditional stories. First of all, digital stories are more clear and intuitive, making it easier for the audience to understand and grasp the basic information conveyed by the story. Posteriorly, digital storytelling integrates video, images, sound and other factors, and uses technology resources to enhance the audience's immersion and enhance the appeal of the story. What's more, the process of making digital stories can enhance creators' creativity, improve creators' thinking ability and hands-on practice ability. And making digital stories puts creators in touch with The Times. After all, nowadays the Internet is developed and many digital stories are popular online.
6) This is a good project. I always have a positive attitude towards the DMC project. Because participating in the DMC project gave me access to many digital resources for the first time and exercised my creativity. First, DMC projects can effectively improve participants' hands-on skills and thinking skills, and promote participants to conceive and use technology to write stories and make videos. Secondly, the content of this project also requires us to mobilize our memory of life and knowledge, which is conducive to putting what we have learned into practice.
7）It would be great if I can learn brilliant techniques of making a great digital story.
