As is clearly reflected in the column chart above,we can see that dramatic changes have taken place in the maket share of certain brand in domestic car market from 2008 to 2009.The Chinese car brands witnessed a mild increase from 24% to 32%,while Japanese car brands dropped from 34% to 25%. However,the Amercian-brand cars stayed stable at 15%. It is not difficult for us to come up with some factors to account for this phenomenon. The first and foremost one is that Chinese brand cars made a lot of breakthroughs in technology.In addition,home made cars have a good advantage in price, more and more people can afford a car.Howerer,another important factor that cannot be ignored is that with the advance of society,Chinese consumers have changed their prejudiced outlook.
